I’m sure you heard of it. Bitcoin has reached an all-time high in history.
I remember back to 2013, when I first heard of “Blockchain”, I was so excited about the technology and the mission behind it. Especially “Satoshi Nakamoto” is such a mystery and I prefer to keep it that way. Back then, I looked around for blockchain projects to design but end up with a small contract of doing timestamp, but that’s all right. What it made me sad was the bitcoin waves didn’t last long, it was about 6 months of high time..then we don’t hear from the tech news.
I’m looking forward to the cryptocurrency will stay and being adopted this time, really have a great feeling about it. Especially I have met a couple of folks these days and made me realized, although it was not a buzz word, people have been working hard to make it happen!
I started my year with a small blockchain project. This is an open-source project to allow users receive airdrop tokens from the Flare network.

Because of this project, I did my initial research, because there is so many terms I just have no idea! Here are few words I learn:
DeFi – Decentralized Finance
DEX – Decentralized Exchange
As a newbie like myself, when I first see Airdrop this term, I thought was like an iphone Airdrop……
I also learn there are other types of coin/token out there that needs much less energy to consume/transfer than the original bitcoin, see below example:
